I felt all factions were short and half-assed, worst of them being the Thieves Guild, that to complete fully, you had to repeat a series of mundane radiant quests, to attain an average quest, and all this to get a slightly upgraded version of Thieve's Guild armour, and an amulet. Then thereafter you find that being Guildmaster is as mundane as the radiant quests, acquiring no duties that might accompany being leader of a guild. I worry that this sequence of radiant quests having to be completed before attaining a non-repetitive quest will be ever more common in later TES games.
