- Teldryn Sero(?) - Dunmer Mercenary in the Retching Netch
Really liking this guy. He has a pretty cool backstory (all about his previous companion), and he's actually really powerful. I was playing the DLC on a level 8 Khajiit Archer, and boy, without old Teldy as I've taken to calling him, I wouldn't of been able to do it. But every battle, Teldy would summon his Flame Atronach and charge in to battle, flinging firebolts and slashing up Ash Spawn with his sword.
- Frea - Nord Skaal Warrior, can follow you after the main quest is completed
She's really cool. Kind of like the Serana of this DLC, just not as in-depth because the DLC doesn't focus around her. She's a pretty interesting character though, and she is also really powerful. I picked her up as a companion around level 22, and she had a full set of Nordic Carved (w/o the helmet) and a Stahlrim + Nordic war axe by default. So she was naturally decked out without any effort on my part. She uses Alteration spells in combat to beef her up even further, and she dual-wields! From what I used of her, she just ran into battle, took hits like a boss, and dealt out some heavy damage.
- Wizard Apprentice in Tel Mythrin
Haven't used this guy so I can't judge him quite yet. But he's a mage so I can only assume he uses the new spells added in the DLC and hopefully he's quite effective with them. Might give him a try soon.
What are your thoughts on the companions?
