Confusing: Dark Alliance 3

I don't understand any of this, they posted this in 2007 when starting this site:

"In addition to reporting the annual results, the company also pointed to its two-pronged growth strategy. First, management is working to secure funding for the development of a Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) based on the popular "Fallout?" franchise. gamesas sold "Fallout?" in 2007 while obtaining a license back, under certain conditions, to create and develop a "Fallout?" MMOG. At the same time, the company will leverage its portfolio of gaming properties by creating sequels to some of its most successful games, including Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent, and MDK."

But yet they haven't made one or any indication that they are and the fact that they say they don't have the right to make a third one is really confusing since I had found this in the news feed of this site.
So maybe someone that is really connected to the head of gamesas should speak up about all this and explain they aren't making a third one on top of why the site says they will?

I had also been wondering why you guys don't make some type of deal with the ones who own the Forgotten Realms - Baldurs Gate trademark and give a share of the profit to them so that you can make the real Dark Alliance 3 because it would make everyone happier than one that's not connected in anyway or form. It wouldn't be the first time you guys had shared a profit with another company to keep making a game that everyone has been eager for, right? And it would most likely be for the PS3 so if you gave them 20% of the profit to keep making the games it would be worth it since PS3 games are $50.00 - $60.00.
