» Thu May 31, 2012 3:53 am I'm currently playing a mage character, and I'm thinking of investing perks in Conjuration, but will it be of any use in high levels? Or will my summons become useless at high levels? I have already enchanted the possible equipments with Fortify Destruction and Fortify Restoration so I have no space for Fortify Conjuration to make the spell cost perks for Conjuration useless.
Conjuration at high levels is amazing. You don't have a lot of variety with spells, but the ones you have are powerful.
As someone else said, you can:
1. Summon 1 or 2 dremora lords. Not only are they powerful but they are cool to watch in combat.
2. Summon 1 or 2 permanent frost atronachs. After the perk, these guys are very powerful as well.
3. Use dead thrall on a variety of things. I have tried it on Master conjurers, Forsworns, Bandit Chiefs etc. Forsworn briarhearts can cast frost spells and can also summon atronachs. If you have a companion you can give them the sanguine rose and you can have an army of 2 briar hearts 2 atronachs 1 companion and 1 dremora lord. Is that powerful enough for you?
