When i use the conjuration bow(bound bow) do i use magic or do i use a bow? And what am i leveling? Bow or conjuration magic? Oh and does my perks in the bow tree effect my abilities on the bound bow?

Thank you...

You use magic to conjure it and then you use archery to shoot arrows. Yes, archery as well as conjuration perks affect it.

You don't have to put perks on Conjuration skill if you're aiming to be a Hunter. The "Conjure Bow" just helps you level up your Conjuration.

Yes but there is a Conjuration perk that increases your damage with bound weapons.

I can't level both at the same time which bugs me a lot.

Go both, problem solved.

Why go both when you can have better output by just choosing Archery? 50% to double the point investment for half the effectiveness? Lol.

yes there is, and further it will add soul trap to your bound weapons. However, you don't really need the bonus, you can do fine without it if you are essentially a fighting character. A conjuring mage on the other hand might choose to have its minions go ahead and then assist with conjured weapons instead of magic (to each his own). So the bonus would be welcomed for a mage.

Trust me you won't be using Conjured Bows especially if you have Daedric Bows with "Extra Effect" (perk from Enchanting that allows you to do 2 enchantments)... Although "Conjure Bows" saves you arrows but I think you won't run out of arrows especially if you have the perk "Hunter's Discipline" giving you more arrows to loot from an enemies corpse.

I don't like daedric items to be fair. Never have and never will. I love the look and feeling of bound weapons. And I don't have to worry about arrows either!

Also, I'm a High Elf and i feel that bound weapons ''fit'' my race more.

please allow me a moment to trollface......

..... ok done.... bound weapons look EXACTLY like daedric weapons, except for the ghostly effect, i understand what you mean about them looking better though but when reading this i couldn't help but laugh.

anyways to answer the question at hand, summoning the bound bow will level up your conjuration skill, and using the bow will level up your archery skill.

the bound bow will benefit from all archery perks (except hunter's discipline), but the only relevant conjuration are the ones that increase bound damage, add soultrap, and add banish/turn properties. And if you really need it, the relevant level of reducing spell cost, but really thats only about 4 perks you would really need to spend in conjuration at least, 8 at most, the rest you can put wherever you like
