whats your favorite summons dremora lord,flame,frost, or storm atronach and why? Also im new to it is there one that it better then the rest?

My Flame Atronach performs much better than my Dremora Lord. He gets killed A LOT.

It's a really tough choice. I love the way Flame Atronachs move, but I also love how big and imposing the Frost Atronachs are. Storm Atronachs are closest in theme to my character's style, but their shape is kind of weird.

I mostly use the dremora lord, he's really powerful and quite funny when hearing 'I'll feast on your heart' when fighting a skeever or mudcrab lol, also they look badass and there weapon is enchanted, other than that I sometimes use the storm atronach because they are also quite powerful and unique looking, the other summons are too weak to help my character now, but yeah apart from the highest lvl dead thrall spells they are the two most powerful.

Anyway, to avoid a mod getting uptight with me about joking in somebody else's thread, I would say pick whichever one fits your character better. Or if you're playing a general conjurer, go ahead and learn all of the summons spells, and just learn which one is best in which situations.

I'll assume that was a joke.

I find myself preferring the flame atronach. I like the way it looks, the way it moves, the way it casts and I'm a bit of a pyromaniac. I've almost always leaned towards fire builds in most games that have them. Unfortunately flame atronachs are on the weaker side, so I find myself wishing they'd scale with me.

fire atronach- ranged
frost atronach- melee tank
storm atronach- melee and ranged
dremora lord-melee with armor pretty high health and an enchanted daedric greatsword these guys can kill most enemies

Dremora Lords are very awesome. One Dremora Lord I summoned took out a giant by itself. Then almost killed a second one :blink:

Depends on what I need. Flame atronachs are ranged attackers, frost or dremora are melee. Dremora Lords use more magicka, so sometimes spamming frosties work better. I also use SIMS, so I can field half a dozen skeletons or skeletal archers as well.

Dremora Lords are OP. It is basically an instant win button. You could go through the entire game just summoning them and sitting back watching. No fun at all.

Dead Thralls all the way especially as I get higher level, dragon priest will turn atronachs fairly easy. Having a pair of master vampires tagging along as thralls can be pretty sick. I guess its just a matter of preference but as far as atronachs one flame and one dremora lord is what I would go with.

My next character is going to be an attempt to combine smithing, enchantment, heavy armor, one-handed, fire-based destruction and necromancy-oriented summoning. I wanna swing a flaming sword and shoot fireballs while my undead minions attack the doomed foe. :devil:

That sounds like it could be a fun character. Never was much of a necromancy fan, though. Those walking corpses lack the elegance and grace of the flame atronach.

dremora lords seem to be able to take out most enemies in 1-3 hits
so i summon 2 of them
