So I was in a Dwarven Ruin (I forget which one, it was in the Northwest corner of the map) and there was a weird box thing that you needed to put something into to activate. This was awhile ago, and I figured it was part of some quest I hadn't come across. It's been a long time, and nothing has come up relating to anything like that. Anyone have any clue what it is and what it does?

...or was it a "strange orb" in a ruin called Kagrenzel?

This happens to be the strangest place I have encountered in Skyrim. Also seemed to me that this place could be a possible DLC in the future.

I liked the place. First I felt special, like I had been chosen. Then I realised it was more like it had "scanned" me, deemed me unworthy and discarded me. Like trash!

Well, at least it didn't kill me.

was it Bthardazm? because there is a quest for that.

are you talking about the autherieum forge or the lost dwarven forge quest where you have to gather 4 peaces of artherieum
