Yeah yeah people go on about giving a CLEAR warning. The thing is some people take it as once you start the mission you can't go back to do anything else UNTIL the mission is over. That's how it is with other games. They should of said in the text that it will be game over and the story will have ended and no more playing.
Those people need to actually read the text box then. It very clearly says "You are approaching the climactic final battle. If you have anything you want to do, make sure you do it now before you start this quest."
I already knew they were gonna end it at the main quest and it's pretty damn stupid even if it's to have an impact on the decision we made because 99.9% they will make DLC to extend just like bethesda did with Fallout 3 so why not just do it in the first place?
Why do people always say they'll make a DLC for freeplay after the end? Obsidian is on record as saying they don't want to make such a thing, and it frankly
isn't necessary because the ending isn't as pants on head
dumb as the vanilla Fo3 ending.
Besides, any sort of post-end content would have to be expansion sized at a minimum to properly do the ending justice. Possibly even a fully on sequel, considering that we didn't get to see the NCR until Fallout 2.
