Convincing the Followers to support the NCR

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 1:35 am

According to the Wiki(http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_endings#Follower_of_the_Apocalypse), there is an option to convince the Followers to support the NCR. However, even though am I idolized by them, and have actually joined them, I have no option with Julie Farkas(the only person I can speak to at the Old Mormon Fort) about supporting the NCR.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

I was under the assumption that they already worked with the NCR, just they prefer non-violent methods.

I believe everyone supports YOU, not the other groups. Do their quests and the option should come.

They used to but felt NCR was becoming too Imperialist. Think of them as the anti-war Hippies in the Falloutverse.

I have all of the Followers' quests. Still, no option.

I think some guy mention in a different thread that there was something in the files that allowed them to support the NCR (and give them a different ending slide) but it wasn't being used in the game for some reason. /vague

Well... that svcks if it's true. Because it is definitely one of the possible slides according to the GECK.

They might've taken it out due to consistency reasons. The Followers have been trying to get people to not fall for the NCR's propaganda and lies for years. Itd be odd for the NCR figureheads to suddenly welcome the Followers with open arms.
Its the same with House and the BoS. In the quest to destroy their bunker, there is an option where you can talk House into leaving them alone. Theyre both "feel good" options rather than "consistent with their motivations" options.
