Could PC be getting Dragonborn DLC early

Post » Tue Nov 06, 2012 3:51 am

With everyone complaining about Xbox getting it early I started thinking. Bethe$da only know xboxs Dragonborn release date because they had to submit it to Microsoft for approval but with PC they can put it on steam when ever they want.
They could not have a pc release date because they will release it on Steam as soon as its done.
We all know that Bethe$da won't comment on anything to do with releases dates so we just have to wait and see. Hopefully it pops up on steam sometime around the start of December

well that's a very...optimistic...thing to say. Personally I think PC users will get the DLC later than Xbox users. However, being a PC user myself I wouldn't complain if it were to happen as you say.

If the PC had a release date it would be in the Steam store. I checked, it's not. That means no official PC release date has been provided to Valve.

I feel like they would have told it to avoid some of this confusion/anger over the xbox exclusivity.

Bethesda seems to like making its customers angry - look at how they treat the PS3 users after all...

The other DLC also came without hint or announcement, so that does not count as an indication ;).

I can't stand everyone saying that Bethesda is poorly treating PS3 users. It makes no sense. They can't get their DLC to work on the ps3. There's nothing they can do but keep trying.

Steam would probably get it near the already announced release date for the Xbox 360 version. I doubt they are going to get it earlier than that, but a few days either way really makes no difference.

I agree. If they weren't blinded by nerd rage they would see that Bethseda is trying to get it to work. Its no ones fault but the PS3, its a very hard console to design games for.

Bethesda isn't working hard, that's the thing you don't understand. They say they are, but really, they don't care about us and never will. It's not like they're sitting there working on Ps3 as we speak. They've probably given up months ago.

I would argue that they're probably more frustrated at the lack of ps3 dlc than any ps3 owner. I don't know if they're still working on it or not but if I had a product that I knew a lot of people wanted and I was proud of it but couldn't get it to a third of the population I would be very frustrated. Especially if the problem was only a problem because I couldn't solve it.
