You guys ever wander in the wilderness and kind of notice that its quiet...maybe a little too quiet?
Hearing some good ambient sounds like this in my opinion would truly make the elder scrolls world come alive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOBzSxFK8E0&list=PL453DB481B0AA0DCD&feature=plpp_play_all
If you're on PC, check out the mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10886. It does exactly that. There's also a http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8601. They're very good.
Edit: I think Nexus just went down for maintenance, the links should work again soon.
I like the music. I find it soothing. What's more is the girlfriend also finds it soothing so she doesn't complain about it when I'm still sitting up playing it into silly hours as she trying to go to sleep. Its the only game (along with Oblivion & Morrowind before) that she doesn't moan about.
You realize those are animals making those sounds, and if you havent noticed, there isn't many noise making animals across the icy, tundra like lands of Skyrim.

If you turn down or off the music, there is quite a lot of ambient sounds in this game. Not sure I want too much sounds in the woods, don't want to think I am in the rain forest or something.
I used to use Sounds Of Skyrim - Dungeons ... Turned it actually made some of my quests bug-out. For example, "The Cursed Tribe" quest , Yamarz would not spawn in the final cave and this mod prevented that. Once I removed it, all the bugged quests continued to work perfectly ^^
