Patrolling and all the AI packages work fine, with one exception. When the guard detects the player he goes through the "You're trespassing, leave" bit exactly as he should. When the guard finally gets fed up and goes to arrest the player, he starts to say something like "By order of the jarl" then cuts off as for some reason he goes into combat. I don't particularly want the guards to fight the player, just arrest him if they find him sneaking about. Is there some flag I've missed somewhere or some clever way of forcing the guard to stick to the arrest routine? Or is this just an effect of the crime system being pretty wonky to begin with?
The second issue I've run into is swapping out the addition guards based on the civil war progression. The stock cities have it set up so each guard has EnableParent set to an X-marker that toggles its enable state based on who controls the city. I have my guards set up the same way, but when a character that's captured Solitude for the Stormcloaks enters my zone, the game crashes with no error or reason. Obviously for some reason the Stormcloak guards being enabled causes an issue. If I let the Stormcloaks load without the EnableParent set, I just find corpses where the Imperial and Stormcloak guards fought it out. So obviously loading the actor isn't the problem.
I've been wracking my brain trying to figure this out. I've looked all over and can't seem to find any kind of logging, does the game bother to record *why* it just silently closes?
