A couple ideas for bethesda.

Post » Wed Jul 04, 2012 4:36 pm

First off, on the last post this my computer lagged and I pressed enter twice and it just posted "Bestheda," i tried to edit it into what I wanted it to say but it got locked.......my bad.

Bethesda,

I have a couple ideas so if you would please listen. There aren't many armor types in skyrim(unless you have mods) and for those that don't we do kinda get bored. It's the same for everyone. You go from iron to steel and so on and so forth. And everything looks the same(as in how most characters progress in armor). Could you make different types of armor that are better then the ones we have now, but also make different types of armor that are the same class as iron, steel, etc. but look totally different. Their truely isn't much variety in the game. If you could come up with just different types of armor and weapons(ones that we'll actually use) and put them in the game through an update or something like that or free DLC, that would be great.

And if you could actually put werewolves(wild ones) in the game too, other than yourself and the 5 others in the companions, that would be great. It's kinda lonely as a werewolf. Just asking is all, and if you could give me some feedback that would be great. Thanks!

Don't count on a Bethesda reply nor any of these things being included.

i think you should find equipment through FINDING IT. not making it.

id say take out smithing improvement and just leave it to crafting the items only.

I love Steel-Plate armour, I used it all the time (well, when I got to that level) for my knight-in-shining-armour type character: looked cool riding around on a fine steed with a steel blade and shield wearing that armour

Due to someone laking a remark in another thread i just found a mod for that. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2920 I made this one for myself (without the silly wings) and this one http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9673 for one of my housecarls. I used the Knights hosplitar Black on white design.

I'm fairly sure th OP was saying there is very little in the way of veriety. Once you stop using the basic steel armor you have no choices in design. Which gets rather old quick.

But I'm also quite sure you knew that already and were just being an ass.

I think they had enough. Although I wish they added capes and mithril. I think all fantasy needs mithril, its just a fantasy staple at this point. and capes are just awesome.

Not enough armor types? The bloody hell are you talking about? O.o theres plenty of armor in skyrim, many of them are very different and through improving through smithing you can wear them forever and still be very well protected. There is plenty of variety in armor for skyrim, you're just pretty much nitpicking and deciding that there is none.
