Couple questions about console commands.

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 2:51 am

Hi, I don't want to re-roll or cheat a new char to where my guy is at right now, I've just done toooo many quests and explored too much to do that legitimately. However I am not satisfied with my build.

Is there a way I can delete S.P.E.C.I.A.L.S and PERKS and IMPLANTS // STATS - so I can reconfigure them? If so I would appreciate some console commands to do this.

player.modav
If had 10 luck and I wanted to reduce it to 6, I would type:
player.modav luck -4

For perks, you need the reference codes found http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_perks
addperk or removeperk

It seems like implants are treated as perks, but some of them don't have the codes on that page.

If had 'Meltdown' and I wanted to remove it.

I would first find its code. (0014609a in this case)

I would open the console and type:

removeperk 0014609a

Adding a perk works the same way except with 'addperk'.

As a side note, the zeroes at the beginning aren't essential.

Just remembered that you may have to specify it as: player.removeperk 0014609a

New Game and Vegas Rush. Atleast this is what I do: 1st character play without any guide until near end game, than a full plan out character(s) for subsequent playthroughts

meh I don't feel like doing it all over again. Too much walking//talking to do it again and I find myself getting bored fast. I think I can do a complete overhaul and change my characters build legitimately using commands now.
