I've been poking around brinkthegame.com and other parts of the sites/forums for any lil hint towards the DLC release.

This is the only, slightly opaque thing I could find for you, the hungry masses:

They tweeted on Twitter to a poster named @Savage__Henry, his post was:

"Is the DLC happening? Announcement didn't even seem to be official. Are we being spun a line here?"

they said

@brinkgame: "yes it is... it's planned for later this month"

It's better then not knowing at all, at least we know it's coming "later" in the month, so that possibly means it might be the END of June unfortunately. I'm still sticking with my guesses that they're working on a nice substantial update for us, the community to go ALONG with the DLC update for the game.

Sorry, but that's ALL that I could find to even try to satisfy your palette.

ALSO, has anyone noticed the "Latest News & Updates" section of brinkthegame.com is completely missing? It's just randomly gone now, there's nothing there when you click on it. Could this mean they're preparing some news for us? (crosses fingers)

What do you guys/gals think?

Its already half way through the month, and they haven't given an official date with only half the month to go.

To me, it looks like it will be delayed into July or longer. :banghead:

The "official twitter feed" on the main page hasn't updated for a couple weeks and it's not the only thing broken on the website. The last update we got on twitter was a week ago for the PC update going live on Steam. The only contact we've had from Bethesda has been from GStaff on the forums here, which has really only been "we're listening" aside from the news on the hack over the weekend. The lack of updates and the main website appearing to longer being maintained really concerns me as to the future of Brink.

Can developers just totally bail on a project they just released? I don't suppose there is any legal obligation to the community.

What if they decided it is indeed too broken to fix, and moved on?

Eeek! That would be horrible.

I don't think Bethesda would completely abandon a game after one month given their reputation and I'm sure they and SD are doing something behind the scenes. The silence is just a little unsettling.
