Of course it happens to me! Of all people...

Microsoft had a system update and it corrupted my profile. I cannot recover it since I do not remember the details required, guess I should have used what I usually used... Well Dawnguard, good bye was good knowing you.
:(
Microsoft Customer Support didn't do a damn thing either, just answering the wrong things when I ask. :(

Try erasing your profile off your hard drive and then recover your gamertag.

Although, I just spotted it now but you say that you do not remember your details. That is most unfortunate and it seems that is in the way of your road to recovery. Sorry to hear of your losses.

Although you could make a new profile, I have 3 xbox profiles which I play Skyrim on. What level was your guy?

I had 6 characters. My main was 61 200 + hours, a 30 something, 12 and 5 and belows. Over 350+ hours and I had all achievements except one. 1400+ hours on Fallout 3 and hundreds on FNV and of course many on Oblivion. Gamerscore of 13k+... fml

If you had access to the Beta then you should have known to back up your save files~

Call customer support. Usually if you ever had any sort of billing done with your account, they can recover it. It just takes as much detail about the account as you can give them.

I know the feeling. I once reinstalled my operating system on my PC, and lost all my saves in the process because I forgot the back them up. I ended up starting ALL over again, and now, I'm back around level 30.

Solution: Just start up again, I got back to level 30 within a few days, it's not as bad as it seems. Although I do see that you had a level 61 character, then it might... take a little longer.

As he said, the problem wasn't the Beta. There was a System update on the 360 (I didn't get it my self, although some friends did), and it seems like it corrupted his whole profile, meaning "Back up saves" wouldn't do anything.

It's possible. A couple months ago, I lost all my acheivements for Skyrim (it locked the ones I had unlocked back up), and although it says I have 36/50, it only shows the ones I've come back across (which is like, 10-15)...still gives me gamerscore though :\

This guys only the second I've heard with this complaint, but it's both in one day.

Maybe the Beta is corrupting data.

Of course we'd need at least 2 or 3 more users to complain about this for it to be considered as a possible glitch.

Oh man, I'm scared to play now. I turned on my Xbox when I got home from work but I had already decided not to play Skyrim again until Dawnguard was released. So I pretty much sat on Netflix figuring I'd wait until my copy of Oblivion comes tomorrow to play. Now I'm just scared.

This is all just speculation (sorry for inducing fear in my post btw) I've only seen one other guy with this problem even if it is a bug it's probably rare.

But you never know.

It's too late, the fear is flowing rampant now. I'll be uneasy until I get home from work tomorrow. :wallbash:

Try to load one of you're games real quick if it really bothers you.

If it loads correctly that means you're safe..if it doesn't all Xbox users are in danger.

My Xbox threw the Skyrim disk at me, causing scarring on my cheek, then got up, punched my TV in, insulted my cat, violated my grandmother, gave me a PS3 (Worst punishment of them all), then ran away yelling about the glory of Cthulhu.

...And thus my life as a PC elder scrolls gamer begun.
