Cover system

So I read online that the player will not be able to take cover in the game, meanwhile the mutants and bandits can. I'm not asking for killzone 3 cover where you can latch on to it or anything but at least the ability to kneel or go prone. That is my only gripe with this game.

Of course you will be able to take cover . Where did you read all this, it sounds quite surreal to me?

Yeah. I'm not into first person games with no cover. Always vexes me when I see my enemies doing all kinds of neat maneuvers, meanwhile my only action is strafing back and forth behind a box. [censored]. I had hope for this game, but over time it's losing appeal.

i would think you can at least crouch, if you have to stand up the entire time out in the open thats not too cool, but there has to be some type of crouching down i would think, thats a pretty simple basic mechanic. it doesn't have to be the cover system like gears of war or mass effect.

If you can not crouch or go prone or sprint, I doubt that I would buy the game. Those things have become key points in the modern FPS

I don't remember an FPS in the last 10 years without crouch, that is surely in. Context sensitive cover system like in Gears of War can make a game slower, and the levels will be littered with chest-high walls. It works for some games, but not every game has to be like Gears/R6Vegas.

 them saying it doens't have a cover system is only talking about a system like in gears of war or mass effect etc, where you stick to stuff, cause wolfenstein doesn't have a cover system but it has crouch and thats an id game, they invented FPS, no way they're leaving that out, so you guys don't need to worry, standing up all the time would have everyone bent out of shape, lol thats pretty funny, if you had to stand up 24/7 in the game, i bet a lot of people would prob not even buy the game.
