CRAFTING HELP PLEASE!

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 5:47 pm

Max out potion, enchanting and smithing abs (abilities), I can make enchanting and smithing potions @ 32 and 130% stronger respectively. Can enchant gear for alchemy and smithing to 29% stronger. I read some were that smithing potions can get up to 132% (I'm just wondering if I'm missing some item or whatever that boost one of the skills like the notched pickaxe does for smithing

I've never seen them (for sale) higher than 50%. You may be reading total effect. For instance, if you wear 4 pieces of Fortify Smithing gear that have been enchanted with a Fortify Enchanting pot. Then while wearing that gear you drink a high end Fortify Smithing pot. I've heard numbers as high as like 247% if you max it out to very extreme.

FWIW: I've got Daedric that I've improved when at Smithing 100 while wearing 4 pieces of +25% Fortify Smithing and drinking a Blacksmith's Elixir (+50%) and I take very little melee damage so I'm not sure the +247% is necessary unless your Smithing is not at 100.

I wear "Fine Clothes" and "Fine Boots" when I'm running around towns, but I put on my Daedric set when I'm in dangerous places. :P

You can drink a strong Fortify Restoration potion, then put on your alchemy gear and you'll find the smithing and enchanting potions quite a bit stronger.
Careful, though. Being a demigod may not be as fun as it sounds.

Ha, I hear ya.. strange as it may sound, I like the crafting.. not the using.. just like to put things on the shelf and admire them..
But thanx for the heads up
