Just what the title of this post says, every time I enter into the bunker at hidden valley, a bos paladin comes to confiscate my belongings and it results in immediate crash to desktop. Ive tried to get around this using the console command >kill "bos paladin". That got me to next room were the next bos paladin is supposed to escort me and results in ctd. EVERY TIME. plz bethesda hear this and fix it, major plot and quest line is inaccessable due to this bug. it should be considered priority as this should not have even made it to the shelves. why did it even get past beta?

I have this exact same problem. No matter what I do, the moment I go down the stairs after I have been stripped of all my weapons and armor, the game stutters and crashes. Is there any way to fix this?

Since both of you have the same prob, compare which mods you have installed if any and see if there are some common ones.

I have just started the game again after finishing the game as an ally of NCR. Now i wanted to go for the Legion ending but i am having the same issue as these guys now. Whenever i go into the Brotherhoods bunker, the game crash's to desktop every single time at exactly the same point. It did not do this last time i played through, why now?

Also, as i purchased my copy through Steam, i clicked on the properties and then clicked the "Check integrety of local files" button and it keeps saying that 1 file failed the check and will be re-aquired, but it never seems to fix the issue it found. I believe this is the reason for the crash, it is due to a corrupted file.

Who would have to sort this out, Bethesda or Steam?


If a mod could please point us in the right direction to get this issue resolved.

In case anyone of you is using NVSE (and maybe NV stutter remover), disable it and try again.
That fixed this issue for me.

I have the same problem:

When I take over my equipment to the brotherhood of steel my game crashes to desktop.
I have no mods installed.

my specs are:

game version: steam
os: windows 7 home premium
cpu: athlon 640
graphic card: ati hd 5870

The game crashes when to many items were carried. Put some items in a box before talking to the brother hood. That worked for me.
