This is a steam install. As soon as I wrap up the conversation with Elijah (need to find three others with collars), the game crashes soon as the hologram girl thing appears (OR right after I die if you take that route in the conversation). Tried to drop my loot... tried everything i could find on the forum. Running a fresh install now...... while I wait, anyone else experienced this issue?

I've researched everything I could find, trying my hardest to avoid spoilers.

It appears the game crashes as it is about to update my pipboys quest information? I never saw any messages but I feel that may have something to do with it? I tried to find the quest in the geck, Obsidian has a horrible way of organizing quests and it's almost impossible to look at the quest menu and know exactly what your looking at... was going to see if there is a bad function or something... I have some intermediate geck experience... I didn't change any values though for sure.

Seriously considering a boycott of future dlcs... this is just ridiculous.

Right click New Vegas in you Steam games library. Click properties, then click local files, then click verify integrity of game cache. It sounds like you may have a corrupted file, and this will fix it.
