I have installed game via Steam and game freezes when exit.

I updated the operating system (Windows 7 x32 Starter Pack). Resets the game settings (deleted the folder with the save). Updated video card drivers. Updated DirectX.

Nothing helped, the game still hangs on exit (black screen when exit for a long time, after calling task manager says that the application does not respond).

DO you use any mods? Does it always crash on exit? DO other applications or games do this? Did this just start?
The link you provided doesnt work. OTher than crash on exit does the game work well? Is it stable?

It could be just a quirk of the game engine, both Oblivion and Fallout 3 will do that as well. Especially Oblivion. I usually find that hitting the Esc key is enough to get back to my desktop.

I do not use modifications (the game is installed through Steam).
The game always freezes on exit.
Problems with other games do not.

Make sure if you have a 64-bit version of windows to post the 64-bit version. Open dxdiag and theere should be a button at the bottom for 64-bit version just click it.
Then save report through that.

This happen to any other apps? Anything else crash or show instability?
