Ok, so I hadn't played skyrim for awhile, played a bit when 1.6 came out tried horse combat etc... It worked fine. Now I can't get it to load at all. I use steam and I've tried everything, load no mods, completely reinstall. Nothing works. It crashes a second after the Bethesda logo shows.

The first thing you can do is delete the ini files that are in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim and let the game generate others.

Doesn't work. Still crash on the Bethesda logo

Probably won't make a difference to the crash, but it will skip the intro movie. Doubtful the intro files are broke but maybe?
