Crash on saving

As of today, the game crashes when saving. Loading an older save helps sometimes but mostly just delay the problem until I restart the game.

I tried running without mods
Default ini settings
Older drivers
Latest drivers

Using a nvidia gtx 460, 6Gb ram, intel 64bit quad core, windows 7 64bit.

Ive had crashes occasionally before, but not like this. The first crash like this I think, was yesterday before I went to bed. Was going to go from north vegas square sewers to main sewer junction, then it crashed.

The game is one week old, heheh...
Anyway:
Check for Playing Cards in your inventory!
Do not carry any; do not buy any. Sell any you have, then forget playing 'Caravan'.
The cards are bugged, and losing mine solved all my problems...

Check the modding forum and places like new vegas nexus. You would be suprised at the amount of mods, both new and ones ported from fallout 3.

Anyway, I do not have any playing cards on me. Got some stashed though. Ill turn off autosaving, head there and sell them to a vendor and see if it helps. I wonder though if this could be related to the "fly me to the moon" savegame corruption bug, but I did that quest 10 hours back. Surely I would have experienced it sooner in that case?
