Crash On Second Play : Fallout: New Vegas

Whenever I try to play F:NV a second time in one session my laptop freezes indefinitely. I had the same problem with RIFT but nobody was able to help me and it eventually fixed itself; either through a patch or Windows update or something.

What exactly do you mean by "in one session"? Like dropping out of New Vegas to the desktop, and then start the game back up without turning the power off?

Yeah, sorry, one session of Windows. I have to restart to play without freezing.

Games should relieve stress, not induce it. Currently;

Play five minutes -> Freeze on loading screen -> Close FNV -> Restart PC -> Repeat
