Brink crashed on me at the end of a match, froze my PS3 completely. shutdown and restarted and now i'm getting an error after 'press start' during the signing in process. error is Playstation overlay and says d.destSize != -1

Is there any insight that might be shared on this issue? i have tried deleting my game data and save data. individually, and both together. no improvement. I am renting Brink for the purpose of trying it out to see if it's worth a buy, and in my opinion, thus far, it has proven that a purchase could be in the future, BUT this happened after my very first online map completion. if i cannot play Brink, why would i buy it.

EDIT: Playstation said i had a system update available. After downloading and installing the available update, it no longer happens. i can play brink as intended. If any other error occurs of this nature, i will follow up with another edit of this post. At this time, checking for and installing a system update HAS FIXED this issue.
