I have been playing my level 53 for quite some time now and really don't want to start from scratch, sadly I think that these issues were developed over the course of gameplay and they are getting more numerous and annoying. It all started when it became impossible for me to get near sjolunds sinkhole without a random CTD (no error message) so I deactivated all my mods and tried getting near it again, CTD (tried waiting thirty days with no mods and tried again, CTD), Then I began to notice another crash that I'd previously ignored just north of the DB sanctuary by Falkreath, I would walk up the road and very suddenly, the game would freeze and CTD, this also began happening just yesterday by the shrine of zenithar on the whiterun plains (in the center of them in front of a large hill between whiterun and rorikstead), I tried the Toggle AI command which allowed me to observe a cow sitting there with seemingly nothing wrong other than it never moves (regardless of TAI). The second I activated AI again, CTD, and when I reloaded the quicksave i decided to make before toggling the AI (I also used a hard save for all previous tests mind you) and I used tfc to get close this time. Instead of a cow, I found a fox and a deer, half sunken into the ground and the deer was extremely contorted! So i moved in without TAI and got all the way to the altar (managing to stand on it) then, you guessed it, CTD. I'm not sure if this is a navmesh thing, somehow a mesh/texture thing that some ppl report, or something else entirely but if anyone has any way to alleviate some of this suffering or fix it entirely, I would be extremely grateful as I have no idea what to do from here.
