I've been crashing in specific places virtually since I started playing this game. I've reinstalled the game- multiple times, and even started the game over. I finally gave up tonight when, on my 2nd night of trying again, i went into a zone that gave me trouble the last game, and couldnt zone out.

I can't advance important quests in this game, like

1. Companions quest (Oratheim zone won't let me leave)
2. Thieves Guild (Twilight sepulcher won't let me leave)
3. Main storyline- when I tried to go back to dragonsreach to ask about trapping a dragon, dragonsreach wont let me leave.

I contacted support, they replied once with some suggestions- I tried the suggestions and responded to them, also gave them more information. It has been a week now, they haven't bothered to respond.

If you're on the fence about this game, don't do it. It will frustrate you and most likely not allow you to finish, and the support will not cut it.

So you came here to waste space with another useless whine thread?

At least tell us your system specs, post your dx diag, list the things you've tried, or otherwise give more information so maybe someone might be able to help you.

Coming here to post "This game crashes on my system. Don't buy it." isn't helping anyone.

I've not had these problems before, on either of my two computers, so something is working for my system that's not working for yours:
Do you have any mods installed? Or any patches installed?
What are your system specs? What kind of quality are you running the game on? Post your DxDiag.
Did you mess with the ini settings in any way? Disabling vsync, ugrids to load, etc.
Try typing pcb (purge cell buffer) in the console and restarting the zone.
Do you just crash to desktop or are you getting any other visible problems with the game (Stuttering, fps drops, crashes on OTHER places.)
How long have you spent on your character?

To the poster above: These are subforums for specific problems. We are not here to discuss whether the game crashes or not (since it does to the OP) but to solve the problems. If the OP truly wanted a fast solution he or she would list as much information here instead of just complain like 90% of the people who's problems go unsolved.
