Crashing after first second of intro cinematic

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:21 pm

Hey guys,

So I pre-loaded NV on Monday, tried it today. Doesn't work. It starts up fine, but it crashes after the first few seconds of the opening cinematic. Anyone know if Bethesda released a patch to fix this or a way to fix this?

Thanks!

Bethesda hasn't released anything yet, but I have the same problem. Would you mind posting in my thread? Lots of people are having crashing issues. Some experience crashes before the main menu, some crash after the intro, some crash while the launcher is open, but I've noticed only a few people experience crashes DURING the intro. Anyways I made a thread for it. Would you mind posting your specs in there? Maybe it will help them find a solution sooner. It's incredibly annoying as I'm sure you know.

Also me and the only other guy who have had this problem that I know of had the same laptop...hopefully that's just a coincidence.

At this point, there is no way at all to know. If and when a complete problem report, including the standard PC Gaming Computer hardware component summary, and a routine software environmental description is provided, then perhaps someone here will be able to offer a suggestion. Sorry to have nothing else for you now.

I love how obsidian and bethesda don't [censored] care a second for the consumer and don't even bother to respond to any post about anything.... I can't pass the loading screen after the intro and my PC should kill that game ... obsidian need a kick in their stupid ass and start to work for real on the game ... they got lazy since fallout 2 I guess they don't know how to make a game now anymore so they should get fired or get their salaries reduced by 50% until the game runs fine.
