Is anyone having this issue where their game crashes and sends them to the desktop whenever they fast travel?

I uninstalled and reinstalled so my only conclusion is that fallout 4 is broken somehow. I've never had this issue before... Game ruined D:

Are you on PC. If so you can try this... open console ~ type "dumpinputenablelayers" without the " 2 or 3 lines should will show, Disabled fast travel line will show mine was BoS 1, type resetinputenablelayers with whatever number showed, might work, it did for me for a while.

Also you can travel to Listening post Bravo and interact with the terminal by the door no need to hack just open it.

if like me however you have a BoS bug any interaction with Cambridge does a CTD meaning I can not approach the area or Danse, I have got all 3 distress beacons and will be trying again today to join the BoS so that I can progress in the game.

Yip I restarted when on my 4th toon figured out it was the BoS doing me in on CTD.

Currently holding off doing the main quest, which I have not complete since launch day thanks to CTD.

Oh also if you using nVidea card go to its control panel and set it either to cpu or the card itself this also worked for me on random CTD

Don't know if this helps but these where ways I stopped some CTD issues I had. Now it happens with specific mods but luckily I only load 1 or 2 at a time so I can check which it is

Nah I found out the issue.

The save I had was corrupted by a couple mods because of Bethesda's recent patch. I played on a different character and fast traveled everywhere and everything was fine.

Had to delete, in its entirety, my saves that had my character at level 89 and with over 12 days of gameplay. Oh well, I have always wanted to try out the minuteman questline

I started getting CTD on fast travel again, looks like it may be an cell issue related to Factions as I can not travel to settlements now.

From my experience, it's a corrupted save. Everything is working A ok on all my other characters.

I've put a hold on many mods (I only have a weapon balance mod since the weapon balance in FO4 is pitiful, but I don't have anything else). I think we should really wait for GECK to come out to ensure safety and reliability.
