Crashing with only a couple of mods

Post » Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:03 pm

I have maybe 50 mods at the very least on right now when I was running around 100 earlier. Now whenever I try to fast travel and even sometimes in combat the computer just crashes. Any suggestions? Would running NV as the administrator help? I actually don't know what setting NV as the Admin would do anyone want to explain. And finally my computer has a Dual core processor but for some reason only seems to be using part of 1 processor, how would I go about setting it up for 1 full processor or maybe 1/1/2 if you suggest it.

If you removed the mods, while not being in a clean cell. There's a good chance that the existing saves are trying to load information that's not available and you're getting a CTD because of it. The other thing is, bad load order.

Ouch 100 mods. Have you tried the vanilla version at all? Have ytou tried disabling all mods?
You should make sure that fallout 3 nv works without mods first. I would say this is definitely a mod issue.

Ok I had 3 issues, FoMM auto load order set thing made set 1 mod master file after the another that required it. Yeah a lot of mods was also an issue, and finally I was fast traveling to places that no longer exist due to me deleting the mods but the markers are still there idk how though. Thanks for the help everybody.
