Created ESP to eliminate disintegrations, but it does not wo

I created a simple little ESP file using GECK so that energy / plasma weapons do not result in disintegration. I don't like ash or goop piles all over the landscape. I also changed the weight of one of the weapons so that I can quickly check that the plug-in was loaded properly. Well... for whatever reason this plug-in is not loading or not functioning. I used Fallout MOD Manager to ensure it is the last plug-in that should be loaded.

I never had this problem with Fallout 3.

Am I missing something here?

'How' did you do what your saying?

Edit the weapons critical effect, or edit the LaserDisintegrationEffectScript to remove the 'AttachAshPile' command?

And you may need to start a new game to see it, since the guns old effect may be stored in your save game. Or you could try un-equipping and then re-equipping the gun.
