me and a buddy are trying to create a game an 3rd person Rpg kinda with a fantasy feel to it

we creating every thing from scratch so we have to come up with elements, plant life, creatures we are staying away from the norm so horses, trees, and basic elements wont fly

so we need help if anyone is willing to come up with ideas we need help if we put it in we would give you a shout out or a character in game

if anyone does comes up with some stuff im grateful.

Giant mushrooms to replace trees. Instead of horses maybe giant wolves? Really I don't know what to tell you, so I'm not sure quite what you are looking for.

Don't take this the wrong way, but this game is already doomed to failure. A common mistake for people who are trying to make their first game is they bite off more than they can chew. It sounds to me like you only have a vague idea of what kind of game you want to make but even with the little information you provided it sounds too ambitious for you. You have to take baby steps when it comes to making games. Start with something simple. Something you know you can finish quickly. Like a Brickout clone or something.

After that you should have a good idea of what all goes into making a game and you can plan your next project better. And planning is very important. You don't want to have half your game programmed and then realize an important feature you wanted to add is impractical or impossible to implement.

If this is your first game, then definitely follow this advice.

However if you know you can do this, I'd go with a sort of "Shivering Isles" type thing. With weird fauna.

I've also thought turn based combat could be cool in a modern CRPG.

Candyland.

You fight with sharpened candy canes and peppermints as sheilds. Licorice whips and lollipop warhammers.

You worship the gingerbread god, Gingerad.
