Creation Kit crashes after making changes to plugin and savi

I'm having an issue with trying to save changes to an existing plugin I've created. When i want to make changes to my plugin these are the steps I'm taking:

- Open Creation Kit
- File > Data and then I select my plugin and set it as the active file.
- Data loads
- Errors popup, I click yes to all.
- Whether I make changes to the plugin or not, if i now try to save, the creation kit freezes and I have to force close it.

Checking the windows logs, i then have these two events. Anyone else experience this?

What have you done in your mod?

In Fallout, if you tried to attach a texture set to furniture, it would cause what you describe to happen.

Try to think of the last things you did before it successfully saved last time, and undo them before you try to save again.

It's a very simple mod, i added 1 music track and added it to 1 music type.

Ah found the issue. Unless someone can prove me wrong, i think this is a bug. I created a simple mod where i added 1 music track, and set its path to a file in data/music/mod/. I added that music track to the town test music type saved and closed. Then i reopened the creation kit, loaded my mod, and then checked my music track to find that the path to the file is no longer there. If I reselect the file it allows me to save, if not, crash. So for some reason that file path isn't persistent. Anyone else have this problem?

I've been having the same problem with the creation kit. every time i'm working on an esp, i go to save, and the ck becomes "unresponsive"

i've done minimal modding, ie custom spells and weapons using all vanilla.

It doesn't matter what i attempt to do, it freezes 100% of the time when i save.

it becomes unresponsive with steam online or off.

could it be a problem with the directory?

my steam folder is in C drive instead of program files 86

Adding new music tracks is broken. The CK only accepts .wav files, despite the fact that the game only plays .xwma files. Attempting to add .xwma files in the CK causes them to disappear on reload.

I'm done with the creation kit myself. I cannot work with a piece of software that crashes 5-10 times an hour resulting in a loss of work back to the last save.

Awful piece of kit.

wow, i just read the bug list...

so ugh... what CAN you do with the ck? other than erase it from your computer
