Why is it that the Creation Kit refuses to open after being opened and closed about three times? It loads up and then freezes to the point where the process has to be killed. I tried letting it sit for over an hour with nothing else running and it still just sat there. The only way to get it working again is to restart my computer, which is awfully inconvienient.

You might be running to the CK bug that causes window handles to leak, leading to the global pool's exhaustion. There isn't much you can do about that.

Restarting no longer fixes it. Just sits there after Initializing FaceGen.

Then it might be a completely different issue. Have you try re-installing the editor?

I'm going to try reinstalling Skyrim and deleting everything from the skyrim directory. There might be something in there messing it up.

That seemed to do the trick.
