I see that many people are still experiencing CTDs, but was there a fix for the BSODs that I somehow missed? I updated my 9800gtx + with the latest drivers, turned off AA and AF, and disabled audio codecs not from microsoft; but the BSOD continue. According to the program WhoCrashed, the error is caused by the Creative Audigy 4 WDM driver hap17v2k.sys. Anyone know anything about this? Can I delete it or disable it somehow? I disabled the entire card in the device manager, but the F:NV wouldn't start as there was "no sound card detected." I hope someone can help me as I am at the end of my rope with this game.
Thanks! :brokencomputer:
A blue screen usually indicates a driver or hardware issue. How up-to-date is your sound card driver? How is the stability in other games?
Try to install the latest directX run-times.
