Critical Active Effects Error

[SOLVED]

To Remove "Ghost Effects"
1. use the "player.resurrect 1" command to remove ALL effects.
2. save and close skyrim, restart and reload your save to reapply racial bonus
3. use "player.addspell " to manually reapply all your justified effects
**NOTE: I have noticed that after following these steps my perk abilities are not being applied correctly, for example I am not able to zoom in with a bow or dual cast destruction spells even though I have perks in the slots; however, I was able to fix this as well by using the following mod...

Below is a screen shot showing my (naked) character with bonuses that should not be there, after following the provided steps I was able to strip my character of all effects and add them back manually. thanks for all who helped.

Yeah, it breaks the game for me and it is a hell of an issue haha.

Is there any possibility of a mod or script or something that could rework the active effects of a character? - I have no experience in programming at all, I am simply a user, but I have to admit this error might drive me to try to work with the creation kit and maybe somehow fix this...

for instance - what if I were able to strip EVERY active effect off my character, then add the appropriate race bonus and go from there?

when did you create the character? what version of the game? I find people having tons of issues with older characters on recent versions where fixes exist but only for newly created characters. For instance my release character was a test b.c I know how Bethesda is and he is still all borked in so many ways but my 1.3 created character and 1.4 created character have had few(1.3) to no(1.4) issues as of late. I have a total of 400 plus hours spent in game total.

I would think it was probably the result of a mod thats then been stuck in the savefile. Sure the game does get a little iffy with the issue of multiple similar effects. However ive done this a LOT on 360 myself and although the effects list does mess up and not display where the effects are coming from properly it has never "saved" the stats to the character. Every time Ive removed the items the effects have also been removed.

As I said it does display it wrong stating for instance that my +20 archery that I have 3 times is all coming from the same item, but they are removed when the items are. And I do a lot of chopping and changing of armors with similar enchants on because I spend a lot of time getting the characters to look the way I like, so that means using lots of different pieces of armor till im happy with the look and I always have them enchanted before hand so that I dont need to worry about doing it again later.

when did you create the character?

This is my release character, if i remember correctly I started on v1.2
(I'll edit my OP to include this info)

I would think it was probably the result of a mod thats then been stuck in the savefile.

That is a possibility, but how can I check my save game for mod errors? Although, I have no idea what mod or why would be causing such an error. I do not have any mods that directly target active effects.

just a note: this armor was all crafted/enchanted by me. This sparked a new thought for me, I believe that some (not all) of the active effects were originally given to me by a craftable item only obtainable through a mod. I am going to hunt through my archive of over 800 saves (yikes) and find when this error occurred precisely.

UPDATE: On the Nexus form someone suggested using the resurrect command on my character in order to strip the "ghost effects"

This managed to remove ALL effects for my character including race and acquired bonuses.
- I believe this is a start though, this is the first time I've been able to remove the affects at all.

Is there anyway I can reapply appropriate affects to my character? (I am missing my Agent of Dibella, Resist Fire - Dark Elf Blood, and Resist Disease - Werewolf Blood) affects.

I am about to play with my console and see if I can artificially recreate my deserving effects.
