Decathlete video gamers cried because Oblivion was too easy. They got the skill/ability nerfs they were crying for, at the expense of everyone who liked those skills/abilities.

Whining works. Anyone who tries to insult you for whining, is either too stupid to see this (doubtful), or they just don't want you to get what you want.

Either way the only pointless action is remaining silent about what you don't like, and about what you want.

The players have eminent control of the games they play. Go ahead and whine about every little thing you don't like. It's the only way you'll get what you want.
