CTD and House Mods

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone else is having CTD issues mainly with house/location mods. It's a slightly weird one and it tends to be related to how many mods I have and how big the save game is.

I used to run quite a few house mods and am only running a few now. But a few new ones have come out mainly adding more houses to small towns like Ivarstead and Rorikstead.

The weird thing - if I use these mods on a completely new game, they seem to work fine. If I load up a save game that has over 200hours of game play, will crash when I load the save game. If I turn specific mods off, loads fine.

My new game is a save game I got to a point with no mods. Only abotu 30 minutes of game play.
The 200hour+ save is one I got from Nexus.

I can generally load quite a few mods that do not alter the world (so weapons, clothing and so on) and no problems. But use a mod that adds a house or alters the worlds - crashes.

But as I said, the crash always happens on the 200hour+ save game - it doesn't happen on my new game.

Does anyone know why this would occur?

I use the save games with huge amounts of hours to use that as kinda a test as to what the mods are like on large save games.

One thing I will try after work is enabling the logging and seeing if that helps, for some people I think it has helped, especially if script related.

EDIT: Haven't put the list of mods as I don't have them on me right now, but it doesn't really matter what the mods are. The mods can be in different regions and the problem happens.

Also on 1.5.26 of Skyrim, but this has occurred since 1.4.21 (and earlier).
Is this that navmesh bug I hear about?

I also seem to have this problem;
Kept on getting either CTD when loading my main save game, or if I was lucky, the game would load, but when I entered any interior, they'd be hardly anything there and the majority of the location would be open blue sky spaces with the odd monster floating about here and there.
Disabling all house/location mods seems to have stopped the problems and crashes, but it would be rather unfourunate if there was no fix for this as, naturally, the biggest, most exciting mods, will no doubt include new interior locations.

Anybody else had this problem and know of any fix for it, other than simply not using house or location based mods?

EDIT: Just to add, I tried to load up save game files for newer/younger characters, and they did not appear to suffer from this problem whether with or without the mods.

There may be a problem with saves made prior to 1.5 - such files may be glitchy if played now. We can but hope that our new pst 1.5 characters do not suffer the same issues when they get 200 hours old! (*crosses fingers*)
