So, I quit playing Skyrim for a bit due to losing interest after making two pretty OP characters (Legitly). After a while I decided to pick it up again and try something new. So while doing the Dark Brotherhood Questline and getting to the point "Cure for Madness." I got to the part where you are supposed to "Behold Shadowmere" and he never raised out of the pool of tar / void / whatever it is.

This happened to me on another character a while ago that I got rid of because of this bug. I have tried all the various methods on fixing this bug and have not seen Shadowmere at all. You have had a few patches now and while also seeing other threads made in this forum about other faction quests being broken, you guys have really dropped the ball. Something like this event should have been fixed in the last two patches you have released.

Something like acquiring Shadowmere is huge to a new player and if this happened to them, they would be raging up and down once they found out what they didn't get. Seeing as this is a Bethesda game and I'm a long time fan of the series / company, I'm used to it. This however, shouldn't even still be around at all.

Please Bethesda, I implore you to fix this in an upcoming patch along with the other bugs that people have had concerning the Thieves Guild quest chain. I myself have not had that particular bug occur to me and I really hope that I never do.
