Cure for Werewolf

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:01 pm

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to cure yourself from being a werewolf? I didn't cure myself after the last mission for the Companions and decided to wait a long time to attempt a cure. I went back to the dungeon with the blue flame with the required hagraven's head. I pressed the activation buttom, but the blue flame stayed idle and nothing happened. Any ideas?

Have you cured Farkas or Vilkas yet, you can cure yourself at the same time.

You also have to have a certain item in your inventory.

I was able to cure myself before curing them, but that was just right after I finished the last quest of the Compainons.

Interesting, one more thing to try out when I get to play later. I had cured The Twins but had to reload a previous save due to me acting foolish in Whiterun...lets just leave it at that. Ok I hit save instead of load.

I'll try changing the Twins as I attempt the cure for myself. Thanks for the idea. =]

ive read that if people keep going back and checking each month (ingame) it will eventually work again. but doing it when you have the quest active for one of the twins is a better bet.

I had to have both twins cured before it would let me cure myself, I didnt do it of course. I finished the Totems quest with Aela and was still able to go back and get the option to cure again I passed. I tossed the into a chest in Breezehome for safe keeping.

Yeah I know, to each his own. But being normal in my opinion is a curse.
