so i have the witches head and am trying to activate the flame so that my wolf spirit appears but it just wont do anything......is this a bug or am i not doing something right?

If activating the flame does nothing it may be bugged. Have you tried it on an earlier save?

don't think you can cure it , if your on pc there is a console command but if your on console too bad but hey the new dlc will have a perk tree for werewolves so maybe thats good news for ya

i dont wanna be against the vampires in the dlc.........hopefully in the new dlc the vampirism will cure it

Have you cured both Farkas and Vilkas? If you don't cure yourself when you cure Kodlak, I think you have to cure them both first.

This is correct.

You'll need to do quests for Farkas and Vikas to cure them then you can cure yourself. Or if u just cured kodlak you can cure yourself after that battle.
