Curse by my own stupidity...

I hate it when I misspell thread titles. :l

Just deleted one of my characters by accident. My vampire I was training up for the Dawnguard DLC. >.>

Anyone else have any unfortunate experiences with their save files? Deleted their character by mistake like myself, perhaps?

I made a topic simular to this.
And my whole story was about me accidentally deleting my new breton mage character who I was going to use on the DLC.
So yeah, I feel your pain. I had to re-make him.

I am far too paranoid about losing filesaves. I think that if I were to create anymore files, I would have to put them on a new gamertag, just to ensure I don't save over someone.

I maintain dozens of saves per character, if I mistakenly delete one of them, I have several that are only a few hours behind to fall back on.

Sorry for stepping on your toes with that one.

Luckily for me my character wasn't too highly leveled. Nine or ten, I think. Luckily for me I was wondering whether I actually wanted to continue with the character for multiple reasons and was thinking of deleting her anyway, but that doesn't mean I'm happy losing her. >.>

My character was roughly around the same level, but I had a pretty high Destruction Level, with it being in it's 40's.

Mine had a higher conjuration that destruction, focusing on bound weaponry most.

I'm now tempted to make my necromancer character though and make her a vampire. Conjuration (necromancy specifically) and destruction magic, specifically lightning magic.

Not on Skyrim, but plenty of times on Oblivion. But this might be due to the fact that I have atleast 5 saves for each character on both my hard drive and cloud storage

Smart man.
Surprised I didn't think of that myself.

Now to decide what to play now... remake my vampire or try out something more assassiny... so many choices.

Ah yes, the moment you realize you accidentally pressed the wrong button, and you have that revolting gut feeling that says, "No matter what you try to do; all that work is lost.".
