Ive done the cursed tribe but didnt recieve Volendrung. Ant ideas what happened?

You need to pick it back up off the alter. Once you placed the giant's hammer on the alter, the quest completes. That the hammer back and its now Volendrung. I have it hanging above the door in Breezehome.

it may be gone then... I always picked it up the moment it transforms from the hammer to Valendrung.

Your sure you placed it?

What system are you on? If your PC you can just console command it to yourself. won't be cheating. you should have had it.

The giants hammer vanishes to be replaced by Volendrung, which can be hard to see. The first time I did the quest I never picked it up till returning, are you sure you looked really carefully, it should still be there.

...and then you place the hammer in the rack back at the Orc camp, right? Or does what's-his-name carry it there?

Was it on the ground?

I forgot to get it and when I went back it was in the ground and had been kicked a few feet from the altar. The Orc with the limp pointed it out to me.
