I am attempting to put a custom race in New Vegas. All the files are in place, the race is made in the esp, and yet, it is not listed in the selection when I go to make a character. And yes, it is marked playable. After trying for three hours to get it to work I started over with a new esp by simply copying and modifying an existing race. That did not work either. So I made a third esp where I just copied and renamed a race just to get SOMETHING out of it and still I only have the four basic races! Obviously I am missing something here. As I said, "Playable" is checked, I have a name in the Text Data tab, and the ID is unique. The little preview window even shows a preview of the character. But it is never listed in game.

I read every tutorial I could find on it, I even tried converting it to a master file, none of it worked.

Any idea what could be wrong?
