I am thinking of the possibility of creating a mod that gives you a house. To make this unique from the other player houses, I want to make it so you can customize it. No, I'm not talking about themes, I mean each individual piece of furniture, rug, etc. So if you wanted to have an Enclave table, and a heart shaped bed, you could.

So what do you think? Good Idea? Bad Idea?

In regards to theme, I really liked the customizable theme house in Megaton in FO3. It would be nice to have something like that. What I mean is that you can change the appearance of the walls, floor, and ceiling in addition to the contents, so you could make it look like a nice house, BoS bunker, etc.

Sounds like a good idea, but a fair bit of work. I normally just build my player homes myself in the GECK, then release them later if I feel like it's worth putting up. Honestly I think it'd be easier to just make the house in the GECK, it's really not that difficult.
