I think you should be able to alter the appearance and to an extent effects of a weapon, for example a Radscorpions stinger could be added to an assault rifle as a bayonet? or those with higher repair should be able to engrave their own or anothers gun (for a fee), this could make it make unique and MMO like rather than everyone using the same overpowered gun like CoD...

Great idea, I would like to see a large amount of customization on all weapons. different bayonets, rags and wires twisted down to hold things in place. tribal feathers and trophies (ie skins, fingers and scalps). knife scratched names onto the weapons funiture, or as Dom said finely engraved names or sayings. Raider weapons with chains for a sling.

That away the 2mm ec gauss rifle you bought can actaully have the whole "This is my rifle. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.." feel.

Attention to detail on an mmo. No thanks I prefer some glow or something, not a flimsy bit of rag around a weapon. although attachments onto weapons may me in a 'home-made' style rather than the proper stuff.

I Agree completely. Wouldn't mind seeing some raider character wearing the face of the last guy to tangle with them as a mask . Bandoliers, hub caps, teeth, paint, shell casings and what have you draqed over your armor.

if they could do it without the coding making the game itself crash, id be for it. Learn a habit, it’s not wise to upset a mutie.

I would love for more customization with weapons/armor. I dream of fighting Enclave troops while wearing my black & green customized T-51b Power Armor, weilding a brown & black Vindicator minigun! Hell yeah!!

I believe both a mix of crafted customized options, and pre war options should be made available to the player. For both armour and weapons.

Most mmos I play let you buy eg some armour and dye different parts of it different colours. Eg there is 3 different parts which can be dyed.

Hell yeah Pink Enclave armour, now that has bad ass written all over it
