Cut-Scenes in Cutscenes

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:11 am

What ever happened to the in game story cutscene? (i.e. The Container City
bits where you start and the one guy goes "recieving fire! recieving enemy fire!"
and near the end where they go "command....what was our objective again?')
they cut these really nice looking and tension adding scenes, why? :sadvaultboy:

those cutscenes indicated a more linear storyline. however, the finished project is more of a meta-story, meaning the actual story is pretty loose, and the players get to fill in the gaps however they see fit.

Ive been looking for those too! Thought id missed something. Story's too damn skippy, hopping from scene to scene with lil real explanation. Shame cos the background is awesome & could be a real epic tale.

This should go in Brink General Discussion, not Brink Gameplay Discussion. Just saying. Posts like this push legitamate complaints/feedback about the game off the page.

Someone should write a Brink novel.

I noticed there was some cutscenes in trailers that wernt there. Like when the security got into the container in container city, they were all like WTF?!?! and you never figured out why. Now we got the game, and STILL dont know wtf they were actually looking at. I can only assume there were plenty of other cut scenes that were removed, but thats what campaign is for... not like you couldnt just skip them. Online? sure, cut them out, people are there for the match. Campaign? People generally do campaigns for... well... story...
