so looking to make some custom enchanted armor for my thief, i have the nightingale and its awsome and all but i want to make my own.

so obviously we think leather armor, something that looks like the base thieves guild armor, however nothing i have found in game looks like that and is unenchanted. but then as i was watching the loading screen again, i noticed what apeared to be a custom version of the leather armor (if someone has or can get a pic of the loading screen i am about to describe, i would apreciate it, on 360, so cant)

the picture is an elf obviously sneaking with red face paint what apears to be the nightingale bow drawn and leather armor that is missing the massive shoulder guards. i liked the look of this cutdown leather armor but have no clue were it might be, anyone have an idea? or another thief looking light armor?

I've seen some red and black leather armor on the loading screens. Was wondering if that was in the game as well. I've seen the armor you're talking about and would like to have it too if anyone knows how to get it.

The red and black leather armour is Dark Brotherhood armour.

Worn Dark Brotherhood Armor would be perfect for a thief.

yeah there are 3 versions of the dark brotherhood armor, the base set your given, the worn set you can find, and the legendary set at a specific side quest. as well as one set of DB robes. but im looking for a specific set of unenchanted leather armor. as i have described above.

Mods might be your best bet if you're on PC. I'm not aware of any unique unenchanted leathers.

They're called ancient, not legendary.

I'm positive it's not in the game, at least, if it exists in the files it only exists as an NPC outfit and I havn't found it yet.

Of course, removing the pauldrons and stuff like that is really easy modification, once the mod tools for the PC get more robust you'll likely be in luck anyway. If you're on the console on the other hand... well, you knew what you were missing out on

I don't have a screen, but I think that may be "Linwe's Armor." You can get it by doing the special job for the thieves guild in windhelm.

Oh man!, I got a light armor fetish, but I don't want to be a thief to get that one, I hope there is some other way to get it.

I have Linwe's light armor, i did that quest just to see if the summerset thieves armor was the cutdown leather.

Linwe;s is the grey'er cutdown thieves armor you see some of the guildies wearing (the guild fence) and the summerset armor looks just like standard thieves armor, save for being unlootable (sad face)

the armor in the pic is clearly base leather armor without the pauldrons, and i reserve hope that it lies hidden some place in game.
