[Help] Dangerous Nights

Hey all,

I need some help.
I want to create more dangerous nights.
Currently, when night falls, vampires and conjurers come out and play. But only very small groups and very thin spread across the land.

I'd like to edit this.
I want to:
-Spawn bigger groups of ghoulies on more locations.
-Spawn more than just vampires. I want to add werewolves, whisp-mothers, perhaps some falmer and Afflicted.

Could anyone point me into the right direction? I know nothing about spawning enemies.
Is there a spawn list (or something) for night-creatures?

What you want to do will seem quite advanced when you begin ... But it can be done (more a matter of patience, than anything else)

Have a read of this from the wiki tutorial, to get you started: http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_Encounters

It is the 5th chapter in that tutorial, so you may want to go back and start at the beginning ... You'll learn a lot and it may help you make some sense of levelled-lists and whatnot

Thanks for the link. Certainly helped a lot on the creation and placement of actors.
However, it does not explain anything on placing/creating random encounters.

I have been searching around a little in the CS, and found a quest that takes care of the random Vigilant vs Vampire encounters. I tried to track down where this quest is started (what script of quest stats it) but I could not find it.
It seems the quest is referred to by something called WEQuest, of type "SMQN". Not a clue what this is or were to find this.

I also tried to find some options on spawning enemies. I thought I might be able place spawers (leveld actor lists) all over the place takes a lot of time, but OK), and make it so that these spawners only work at night. Couldn't find anything on this either.

Does anyone know anything about either the WEQuest or controlling spawns?

WEQuest are Wilderness Encounters quests. The SMQN is Story Manager Quest Nodes which are used to create dynamically generated "quests" or "encounters". It's also covered at a basic level in the wiki.

The WEQuests are mostly all prefixed with WE## in their names. A Main quest script is shared between most of them that manages the other quests. It's a great place to start for adding some encounters.
