I was watching the History channel a bit back, a documentary about WWI. For those of you who don't know, Archduke Franz Ferdinand (the Austrian Heir) was assassinated on June 28th, 1914. He was killed by Gavrilo Princip, who was part of a terrorist/nationalist Serbian organization.

Now what I learned, is that this organization was called "?rna ruka (Chuhr-na Roo-ka)." In English, it would be 'The Black Hand.'

So, a memeber of the Black Hand assassinated the Austrian Heir, triggering the events that led up to WWI.

Just something I thought those of us who play TES would chuckle at.

Yes, the Black Hand is considered a Easter Egg (Or a Real-World Reference) itself.

I read that in the UESPwiki, amusing none the less

La Mano Nera (The first Black Hand) was before that even. And they did way more assassinations than the Serb Black Hand ever did.
